Kelvin Sampson has emerged as the primary target in the head coaching search of the Orlando Magic.

Sampson worked previously with Jeff Weltman and John Hammond with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Sampson is currently head coach at the University of Houston.

Sampson worked in the NBA previously as an assistant coach for the Bucks and Rockets.

Orlando had kept their search fairly private to this point.
