Kevin Love has been ruled out of Game 7 after being placed in the concussion protocol.

Love was experiencing concussion-like symptoms after his collision with Jayson Tatum in the first quarter of Friday's game.

Tyronn Lue initially stated during a conference call that Love was in the concussion protocol. He then backtracked after further questioning to say that Love was still being evaluated and that he didn't know about the protocol process or whether Love would go into it.

The Cavaliers are minus-20 with Love in the game but plus-18 when he's off.

At least he gave the CLE crowd something to cheer about for his last time through. I bet he'll get a standing ovation when he visits for the first time with his new team. Not as many burnt jerseys. He doesn't owe Dan Gilbert anything.

Oh, that's mean.

Is Tatum a bull in the china shop? Already knocked LBJ down once.

To be fair, Lebron is +1 this series. Over the length of the playoffs Love is +39. Lebron is +30. No one is overachieving! And if you look at some of the lineups Lue is running with Love out there when Lebron is sitting it's nuts. It's just a hodgepodge of bade lineups that are different from game to game. No consistency. It's almost like Love is running with all the guys Lebron doesn't want on the floor with Him. :eyebrows:

You force an undersized power forward to play center for an entire season, injuries are a logical expectation...

He’s been getting hurt since he put on the Cavs uniform which was when he was playing PF. Position is not the reason for injury he is just injury plagued

Bad Luck for whom?
The opponent star PG is out, and star SF foot is pointing the wrong direction.
I think CLE luckily avoided MIL and PHI.

Yes. I was commenting on the original post suggesting that CLE has been unlucky.
BOS has been snakebit w terrible luck and stiffer competition

yeah, but those guys were out before the playoffs started. Love is out for game 7 which could be the Cav's last game. The timing is unfortunate.

The immensely talented Jeff Green finally fulfills his potential at age 31, in the biggest games ever.

Recall my mention 3months that Jeff is BronInc most important athlete/teammate v Bos?
Recall my saying BronInc ONLY chance is to go black mamba? He finally did and it wore out the kids on Bos.
Amazing performances by BronInc going blk mamba reminiscent of KB v Pho 2010

LeBron is unguardable. You are keeping him out of the lane, and he finds shooters

Sorry I don't recall...

If that's the case, you got lucky Love was out!

2010 Pho didn't even have Bell and Marion, this is more impressive, a team full of 2 way players with a great coach. (except for game 1)
