Draymond Green Didn't Want Tristan Thompson To Be Suspended For Game 2

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Jun 12, 2018 3:32 pm

Draymond Green didn't want Tristan Thompson to be suspended during The Finals following their altercation at the end of Game 1.

The NBA was considering a suspension for Thompson until they interviewed Green.

Green was asked by the NBA whether he expected any negative emotions with Thompson to spill over into Game 2. Green refuted that notion, even when explaining the moment when Thompson shoved the ball in his face.

"Man, it's the Warriors versus the Cavaliers, not the Bloods versus the Crips," Green said to the NBA.

This is Draymond Green high-roading Lebron James. Got nothing to do with TT.
The hottest of takes...

What a difference...

Two years ago, after Lebron stepped over / tried to tea bag Green, the Cavs whined until the NBA suspended Green for responding to that (and not even making contact in his swipe at Lebron). The team takes after the mentality of it's star.

"Please don't suspend him... that's one less pair of balls I can kick..."

Damn Draymond, now LeBron has to pick a new excuse, such as a broken hand that only needed cast after the media know about it.

TT's importance to his team is nowhere near that of Draymond. Suspending him wouldn't do much.

But lebron's boo boo!!!! And they were tired from playing in the weakest conference...and cramps lingering from 5 years ago...and a blocking call that was called correctly....and lebrons boo boo from hitting a flexible white board....

And its all jr's fault.

3/9 on loaded teams in the weakest conference.... No hand checking, flopping like theres no tomorrow...and everyone knows bird ranks higher than you at your position, let alone greatest of all time.

What was this article about? Oh right the fact that the title clev. Won 2 years ago was bs...and lebron without 2 superstars to do the work is a twat.

Green could have made it even easier to steamroll one of the wost teams to ever make the finals (other than lebron's first trip....also a sweep) but he knew taking out one of their key players wouldn't make a difference.
