Kings can. They take in all of the salary and offer young pieces like Buddy and WCS.

True, Kings can but they have no assets. Buddy is a backup SG behind a rookie Serb and WCS is at the one headlight deciding if he want to be a contributor or a bust. None of them are anywhere near Collins level.

celtics aint gonna do that .. you can't rebuild forever..

they are ready to compete .. kyrie will re-sign there - i see no reason why he wouldn't

the articles about him "coming to ny",etc are clickbait

Hardaway + Thomas + 9th pick

For

Parsons + 4th pick

not the worst when you consider the hardaway $$ .. but in a case like this, the knicks are better off swapping (trying to) an expiring (kanter) and just trying to get the pick.. they aren't signing anyone legit the next 2 seasons regardless

25mill/year for 2 seasons of dead weight isn't going to be easy to trade .. idk where the 4th pick puts that package in terms of value

Not so much in keeping LeBron as giving them an extra piece to rebuild with for when he leaves.

I can't tell if you guys are serious. If someone offered you a raise 10x's higher than what you get paid now, would you really say 'sorry I can't possibly take that, people might think I have an ego problem.' Those teams lined up to pay Parsons because he was good at basketball and they thought he could help their teams; he was a solidly good player--a huge wing who could initiate and hit 3s--every year he's played. This 'thieving' you're talking about is the result of his knees not cooperating the last couple of years, it's not like he's been lazy or refused to play or something. Dude's just been injured, his contract would be big but not awful otherwise.
