The Boston Celtics remain very confident they will re-sign Kyrie Irving in the summer of 2019.
Irving has been linked with both the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets, two teams who project to have cap space.
The Celtics acquired Irving last August after he requested a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers.
