Warriors Will Pursue DeAndre Jordan

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Jun 30, 2018 4:11 am

The Golden State Warriors will explore their free agent chances with DeAndre Jordan.

The Warriors realize, however, their odds of landing him are slim.

Jordan was previously represented by Bob Myers and he signed an offer sheet with the Warriors in 2011.

Jordan is also close with Kevin Durant.

DAJ is not like DWest , McGee or KD, highly doubtful.

DeAndre is worth only a vet minimum. He sucks. Can only dunk, block and rebound and can't do much else. Can't shoot free throw, can't shoot a 15 footer, can't probably play pick n roll well.

If he went to the Warrriors they are lucky Hack-a-Shaq was changed. I would tell the last 6 guys on the bench. Go foul DeAndre until you foul out.

72 free throws by him is going to result in fewer points than 36 gsw possesions.

Is DeAndre looking for a mid level with the Ws? lol. How are we going to get him? We need a center upgrade but don't really need him who will likely demand his last big contract and he will get it from somebody.

He only goes to Warriors for exemption or a sign/trade. No big contract if he goes to GSW.

Warriors might like to dump Iguodala/Livingston deals, but not to pay DeAndre lots.

Dunking blocking and rebounding at an elite level is like, what every team wants in a center.

This seems silly. No way he takes an MLE.

HE won’t take the MLE. This isn’t serious.

So you foul DeAndre until you’re in team fouls, then you have to foul Curry/Durant/Thompson and give up 1.8 points per posession. That’s why you’ll never coach mate.

The only way it makes sense is prearranged sign and trade

with what money? if the Mavs are also interested, GSW has no money to throw around. and i'm sure Jordan is looking for his last lucrative contract. This is probably just a move to screw the Mavs into paying more for Jordan.

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb. 58% FT this year. Still low but not so low that teams bothered with Hack a Shaq this year. And when they did, most of the time it was in vain. And DJ is known as an excellent pick and roll player. Pick and pop? Sure, he can't shoot a 15 footer, but that's not what you said. Try watching a game you moron

The Warriors have nothing to send back. Clippers have no use for Igoudala or Livingston.
