Bulls Match Zach LaVine's Four-Year, $80M Offer Sheet With Kings

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Jul 7, 2018 2:35 am

The Chicago Bulls have matched a four-year, $80 million offer sheet Zach LaVine signed with the Sacramento Kings.

The Bulls had 48 hours to match but did so almost immediately.

So the Kings do something really, really stupid only to be saved by the Bulls, and likely only because Lavine was a main piece in the Butler trade.

Kings foiled from foiling their cap space by bulls looking to soil themselves.

How the Hell are the Bulls a top 5 mismanaged team? Bulls have only missed the playoffs twice in the last decade or more. You're ignorant.

A little bit steep. Couldn't Bulls just wait for the next free market?

Makes sense, it's not that big, young team, don't have another SG.

Sixth man probably would have suited him better but the Bulls could always get one later on.

Good call... but why for less? I'd rather have Jabari! He certainly has a higher ceiling. (I wouldn't really want either for $20M per, but if I had to take one.)

It's the max the Kings can offer which is what they offered to Lavine.

Got you. The headline says $80 for LaVine, you said $78 for Parker.... I thought you were being very specific on how much less you thought Parker was worth. :D

Big market team in the east cant attract anyone. Famously cheap. Drives players into the ground unnecessarily, hires poor coaching. Oh you msde the plsyoffs in the east!!! Wow! When was the last time you were s real threat....mj.

Mvp rose' team wasn't a threat.
