Carmelo Anthony was granted permission by the Oklahoma City Thunder to meet with prospective teams interested in signing him if he becomes a free agent.

Anthony and the Thunder are working towards a buyout.

Anthony reportedly has met with the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat.

I think Melo is a great player and would fit wonderfully in the offense. Especially now that Chris Paul slows things down a bit.

Harden, Paul nor Melo need to play fast. This is good for the aging Melo and Paul.

But the Rockets can also play fast at times if they want.

Should be a great fit. It's a real shame Melo didn't come sooner but it's still good to come now yeah.
