Rockets Agree To Sign Bruno Caboclo To Exhibit 10 Deal

The Houston Rockets have agreed to sign Brunco Caboclo to an Exhibit 10 deal.

Caboclo was a first round pick by the Toronto Raptors in 2014.

Brazilian KD playing alongside Harden is as close as we will ever be to seeing if OKC could have succeeded if Harden stayed.

All two way contracts are low risk situations, but you still need to decide which 2 players are worth those spots.

His skill level is low but his bball IQ is really, really bad. I just can’t see it.

I don't know why he can't put it together. He has the size, length, and athleticism to be a great player. But even after 4 years with the best basketball trainers in the world he looks like he doesn't have a clue what he's doing every time he steps on a basketball court. Real waste of talent.

This guy sucks bad. I dont see any potential in a player that can’t crack rotation in a weak ass Kings team. He’s had his opportunity to show what he can do with the Kings and he just looked lost.

He started basketball at a late age,
He never truely had the passion or drive,
His physical gifts gave him potential,
And thats what got him on the NBA radar.

One of my mates is like this (minus the NBA part)
Started basketball at 17, 6'3 (so slightky under-size for a combo Forward in Australia)
Though his lateral quickness and his length is amazing.
First season the roster was hectic (11 players) and because he never developed a consistent jumper he averaged 10min a game as he was shifted into the backup center role to avoid hurting spacing to much.
The next season we dropped down to 7 members, here he averaged around 20 minutes in a rotation with only two guys over 6ft.
This season he has averaged around 25min in a 7man team again (this team has a rookie big who takes the 6fters up to 3).
He is yet to add any playmaking ability, or shooting, he is a positive on defense, but his lack of knowldge of ball movement he always looks lost of offence, no true improvement from his first season.

As such I feel this is what has happened to Bruno.

The only hype was the famous "he's 2 years from being 2 years away" line. Otherwise he's always just had his length. He did help the Raptors G-League team to a championship but iirc that was a stacked roster with current NBA guys like Van Vleet, Poeltl, Delon Wright and Siakam on roster.

The moment a lot of fans realized he probably wouldn't make it was during his first summer league game, where he got dunked on so hard by a 2nd round pick that he went to the bench and literally cried.
