Russell Westbrook Undergoes Knee Surgery

Russell Westbrook has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.


Westbrook was feeling some stiffness in the last week.


Westbrook will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

That's ok. His game is not relying on physical advantages at all, so there can't be any risk of him "losing it". His game is well balanced, efficient, based on very high basketball IQ, unreal passing and sharpshooting par excellence. Nothing to worry about.

It starts, he's 30 he can't be doing all these super athletic Ironman stuff without it taking a toll on his body. Age is gonnna catch up to him real soon.

I'm thinking this is why they brought Schroder in. He'll keep the tempo high when Russ is resting.

He is stating the reality although sarcastically.. Westbrook is one a big supermax too.. That said hope he come back well but as for competitive season that ended a couple of years ago when Durant went back to GSW

Is this a new injury? Why do these players get surgeries right before the season starts instead of earlier in the summer? Booker’s hand and now this.
