Jeff Bzdelik has agreed to rejoin the Houston Rockets full time after Thanksgiving.

Bzdelik left the team before the start of the season but has resolved family issues involved with the move.

Bzdelik is credited for Houston's defensive improvement last season. The Rockets have had defensive issues this season without him.

I'm not surprised. Basketball lifers always find it hard to walk away.
This should be good news for the Rockets.

Weren't you the one who kept trying say he left because of Melo?
So much for that idea.

Houston's probably got a wheelbarrow full of money for him. He's gonna be buying the name brand cereal now.

Now that he sees Melo has been put in his place, he feels comfortable enough to return. I am sure he was given assurances as well to make him feel more comfortable. The Rockets need Bzdelik more than they need Melo at this point.

Agreed, it has been fun watching Melo come to terms with his true worth to a team. Crazy and funny at the same time!

Yep, that's some impressive mental gymnastics.

How is life in the land of denial? The fact that he is unretiring a month into the season gives my narrative more weight than anything you could try and sell...

Quite the contrary.
Every single report contradicts your position, including the most recent one regarding Bzdelik's wife and why he won't physically rejoin the team until the end of the month.
There's a mountain of proof that says you are wrong. I've seen none that suggest you are right.

The facts speak for themselves. As such I'm really not trying to sell you on anything. I certain won't begrudge you your right to be wrong. I know it's hard for some people to accept when reality doesn't fit their desired narrative.
So by all means believe as you choose...sane, silly or otherwise.

Yes he is.
And it's embarrassing that he is here lying about it now.
Here are some of the thing he posted just a few days ago:

I really don't know anything about that other than a headline I read. You're saying it is related to Melo?

Not sure and probably not the only reason, but highly likely to be a factor considering what happened in Denver and Melo's career as a defender.

See what I mean? Hilarious.

It probably helps to know that he is one of those extreme Lin fanatics. That's why he remains so bitter and salty about Melo (and the Rockets) and why he is unable to move on, even over four years later.

There is a mountain of evidence and common sense that speak to my narrative.

1) Melo signs with Rockets; and
2) Bzdelik retires to "dedicate more time to his family" a few weeks later

Melo was the one that got Bzdelik fired from the only head coaching job he ever had in the NBA. Melo refused to buy into the defense Bzdelik was demanding in Denver. Bzdelik lost Ariza and Luc and the only real replacement was Melo, a guy who refused to buy in when he was younger and is incapable even if he wanted to now as he is an older stiff. There is a very simple and direct connection here.

What are the Rockets and media going to say when he comes back? He left because of Melo and now he is coming back, but everything is cool?

If he left to tend to family matters, as you are selling, why does Fertitta make it clear he had been trying to bring him back from the very second he walked out the door? Are we supposed to believe Fertitta was told "I am getting old and my family needs me, so I am retiring" and he just keeps trying to talk him out of it? If he left to tend to family matters, Fertitta wouldn't continue to beg him to return. That only makes sense when it was because of Melo and Fertitta has now given him assurances that Melo will not be a problem or Melo is gone.

Your narrative only works if you are saying Fertitta was begging an old man who "hung it up to tend to family matters" to leave them and come back to his team. And then for some reason Bzdelik gives in and returns less than two months after retiring...
