Jimmy Butler: So Much More Fun To Play With These Guys

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Nov 19, 2018 1:50 pm

Jimmy Butler is enjoying being with the Philadelphia 76ers.

"It's so fun to win. So much more fun to play with these guys," Butler said in an interview with NBC Sports Philadelphia on Friday.

Philadelphia is 2-1 since trading for Butler.

"Everybody wants to win, and when somebody messes up, you talk to them and they do their job," Butler said when asked what makes him so comfortable with his new teammates.

Jimmy Butler and the Timberwolves are both acting like a couple that just broke up and are trying to prove "how much better" they're doing now.

You would be right, but nobody in the Wolves camp is saying anything bad or good about JB. He's the only one still talking. BTW, he said the same thing when he came here. Wont be long until he finds fault with them. He's all about getting paid. Glad Philly likes him, because it's going to cost them $200 mil to keep him. Not our problem anymore. And Cov and Saric seem to be working just fine here. Not all star, but not Dive bitch either.

Didn’t Towns recently come out and say JB was an amazing player and will be missed?

Everyone the NBA knows Ben Simmons and Joel are vastly superior Andrew Wiggins and Karl Anthony towns . Those two are about as soft as you can get and play no defense. Philadelphia could be in the NBA Finals the Minnesota Timberwolves will likely be in the lottery.

The only things Wiggins and Kat have in common are their contracts and their old schooled coach.

Andrew Wiggins getting a Max contract is just about as bad as it can get. The guy that plays 50% 95% of the time. Rumor Has It he had a man-to-man talk with the owner Glen Taylor and promised he would work hard in the future, that's why they gave him a Max. Lol

I'd say there's some people in the Wolves camp acting like that. There's not as much press about it, but the addition of Saric and Covington makes a lot of Wolves commentators say that this is a "real team" playing real basketball right now, as opposed to the weird situation where arguably the Wolves best player didn't want to be there. Obviously it's not a direct callout to JB, but they ARE saying that now they're playing better ball.

Commentators are paid to say things like that. JB is saying it himself. And the reason they say we are playing like a team is because Jimmy was a ball hog, and Thibs kept playing ISO ball. Cov and Saric play team ball despite Thibs.
But most here are happier he's gone considering he didn't want to be here.

Wiggins contract is an albatross and most wolves hardcore fans know it. I dont expect him to be worth it, but Thibs uses him in such a bad way he isnt even a plus player.

KAT in the other hand isnt worse than either Simmons or Embiid despite the neanderthal at the sidelines, who let Rose lead the team in usage for 2nd straight year.

You mean Game Winners like this, yea he is our "problem" now. He just couldn't stand how much Wiggins and KAT relied too much on their talent.

Considering he missed one in regulation that could have sealed it, yeah he finally hit ONE. Look up his last 11 shots to win the game 0 for 11.
Good player for you, until you lose a few. And have fun ping a 30 year old oft injured player $190 for 5 years. And please offer him less so you can see the "real" JB. We happy with the trade, sounds like you guys think we got robbed. :o
