Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton Exchange Words In Front Of Media Following Game

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sat Dec 8, 2018 9:06 pm

Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton exchanged words in front of the media following their loss to the Blazers.

Booker and Ayton have also been seen arguing on the court this season.

“I’m an emotional guy, too,” Ayton said. “I start to feel stuff. When I don’t sense it and the energy is not there, that’s when you start to hear my mouth. I don’t care who it is. Nineteen-year vet or 15 years, it don’t matter. We all have a job to do and I have to step it up a little more, too.”

Ayton needs to step up "a little" more, but I'm sure he thinks his teammates need to step up "a lot" more. Seen this kind of "accountability" during the T-Mac era in Houston. It ain't fun if you're a fan who pays close attention.

When Ayton and Booker said they wanted to be the next Shaq/Kobe I didn't think they meant this part of the relationship.

And that ladies and gentlemen is when Ayton's trade value drops to zero.

The only thing worse than losing 85% of your games, is being ok with losing.
