Knicks Have Expressed Interest In Jabari Parker

The New York Knicks have expressed preliminary interest in trading for Jabari Parker.

The Knicks are not prepared to trade any first round picks as they enter a pivotal 2019 offseason.

Parker is in Year 1 of a two-year, $40 million deal with the second season being a team option. The Knicks could conceivably look to unload some 2019 salary in a deal for Parker.

Parker is an expiring. There would have to be an insanity the likes of which even the Bull's front office is incapable of mustering the neurotransmitters for to solely take a salary dump for Parker. They will likely be showcasing him given Portis' fresh new injury. They'll either get something for him, buy him out or let him rot when Portis comes back.

For one year someone in need of scoring at the center position may take the chance. If he had a deal like THJ I would agree it being untradeable
