As a Kansas fan, I had higher hopes for Wiggins than this.
He is probably the most tenured player on the roster, and has the highest salary. He needs to lead. It starts on the court, but extends to how you present yourself to your fanbase. Most fans would boo if your team blew a game this horrendously, and the leader needs to shoulder the responsibility with dignity. "We need to do better, I understand their frustration..." "We have to turn the page, and bring better effort going forward..." "Tomorrow's another day, hopefully the fans will see a performance they can cheer...".
Andrew might have 99 positive sound bytes, extolling the virtues of his Wolves' faithful following. But all it takes is one negative quote, and he'll be remembered for this more than anything else. The Wolves FO should look to trade Wiggins, but he may have just cratered his market value even further.
Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.
