Luke Walton isn't receiving blame for the current difficult stretch of games from the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers have been without LeBron James since Christmas Day.
Walton's job status with the Lakers was unclear during the early part of the season. There was also a report that Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka have preferred bringing in their own hand-picked head coach, but Walton was being protected by Jeanie Buss.
