J.J. Barea To Undergo Surgery On Torn Achilles

J.J. Barea will undergo surgery on his torn right Achilles tendon on Monday.

The injury ends Barea's season and puts in doubt his availability for the start of next season.

Barea, 34, is in the final season of his current contract with the Dallas Mavericks. Barea previously said he plans on playing at least two more seasons.

His career is probably over. It was already amazing he was the player he was at 34 years old. He is literally more valuable than Carmelo for example and many players that have already washed out of the league but this has to be it you would think taking away some quickness.
