Lakers Have Become More Serious In Anthony Davis Trade Talks

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Feb 4, 2019 8:04 pm

Discussions between the Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans on an Anthony Davis trade have become more serious on Monday.

Dell Demps and Magic Johnson have had multiple conversations on Monday

There's no sense, however, how much progress has been made between the two sides.

The Lakers are one of four teams on Davis' list of franchises he'd sign with long-term along with the Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers.

More serious? Were they joking around before?

Have they learned nothing from the Paul George fiasco?

Pelicans need to be realistic in their trade efforts and include a third or fourth party. Draft picks and rebuilding for the Pels would be a complete fail and they should try to get an adequate replacement for AD with draft picks. The best I can think of now is a trade with Lakers and Memphis with at the least Gasol going to the Pelicans.

Why weren't they serious before? Is this 2k19? Magic is easily the worst GM...
