Jaren Jackson Jr. will be out indefinitely after suffering a right quad injury.
The Grizzlies plan to be cautious in determining a timetable for his return. They also stand to lose their first-round draft pick to the Celtics this season if it falls outside of the top 8.
The 19-year-old Jackson is averaging 13.8 points and 4.7 rebounds on the season.
