James Harden's 30-Point Streak Ends At 32

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Feb 26, 2019 3:30 pm

The 30-point streak of James Harden ended on Monday after 32 games. The Hawks held Harden to 28 points in the game.

Harden's 32-game run of performances of 30 points or more marked the second-longest such streak in NBA history behind Wilt Chamberlain's 65-game streak.

"It was cool," he said. "I knew I wasn't going to get to No. 1."

Harden had a chance to get to 30 before the final buzzer, but elected to hold onto the ball with the game decided.

i dunno if he's the stat-hunter westbrook is, but harden was quadruple teamed on that last possession. he would've been roasted endlessly had he forced up a shot

Uh, the four Hawks crowding him to stop him getting off a final shot might have influenced his decision a tiny bit...
