DeMarcus Cousins underwent an MRI on his sore right ankle and the results came back negative.

Cousins will sit out Golden State's game on Monday against the Spurs.

Cousins is listed as day-to-day moving forward.

As someone who is also battling back from an achilles tear, I hope he heals well. I know my ankle has felt real weak around my repaired achilles, so I have been worried about rolling my ankle (among other things) when I am ready to fully run around again.

I will say that Cousins has generally been a very good story when it comes to his achilles rehab. I mean, he is a huge human being and came back in about a year. F'n impressive. Him and Richard Sherman, very good stories.
