Jeanie Buss Has Long Valued Opinion Of Linda Rambis

Linda Rambis has been described as a "shadow owner" of the Los Angeles Lakers by sources.

Rambis is technically executive director, special projects with the Lakers, but is a longtime friend and close confidant of Jeanie Buss.

League and team sources say the opinion of Linda Rambis has long been valued the most, according to league and team sources. Since Magic Johnson's sudden resignation, Jeanie Buss has leaned even more heavily on Linda Rambis.

I never thought I'd say this: I honestly feel bad for Lakers fans.

I suppose if they land a huge free agent most of this goes away, but I just don't see that happening. This gets uglier by the day.

If it was any other fanbase, I'd agree, but the loud majority of Laker fans have earned at least 30 more years of this dysfunction.

Us Hornets fans havent won a playoff series in going on 20 years. I think Laker fans will be alright.

What I don't understand is how LeBron didn't see all the disfunction and incompetence before deciding to sign there. Lakers are hands down one of the worst franchises in the league right now. The team is being run by clueless trust fund babies.

Arrogance. He saw it, but thought it didn’t matter. He thought he was a good enough player, it would all be irrelevant given his talent.
