Kyrie Irving Has Yet To Rule Out Re-Signing With Celtics

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Jun 13, 2019 3:28 pm

Kyrie Irving has not ruled out the possibility of re-signing with the Boston Celtics, according to multiple sources that spoke with Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald.

Irving has been strongly linked with leaving the Celtics with the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks mentioned as potential choices.

There is no word yet on whether the injury to Kevin Durant or the possibility of the Celtics trading for Anthony Davis will change Irving's calculus.

The Celtics are still trying to acquire Davis regardless of what Irving decides.

Headline should be changed to - once Anthony Davis deal done, Kyrie Iriving to decide on opting out.

If AD somehow / miraculously winds up with the Celtics - Kyrie will opt in.

Otherwise, Kyrie is Brooklyn bound.

True lol -- but there's only about 3,000 AD to the Laker trade scenarios that ESPN / SI / Twitter is floating out there.

Anyone's guess how 2019 FA is going to shakeout especially in the aftermath of KD injury, Pelicans new GM, Lakers front office shuffle - going to be an entertaining offseason.

Kyrie already opted out of his contract if I’m not mistaken

I have yet to rule out caring where Kyrie goes. My team already has a PG so I'm not worried.
