Kyrie Irving Believed To Still Prefer Signing With Nets

The Brooklyn Nets remain the preferred choice of Kyrie Irving, according to sources across the NBA that spoke with EPSN's Zach Lowe.

The Nets have worked towards having the capacity to sign two max-salaried players in a series of moves to clear cap space. The Nets are now a move or two away from possessing $71 million cap space.

In order to clear that space, the Nets would have to renounce D'Angelo Russell, who is a restricted free agent after an All-Star season.

Russell doesn't have an attitude problem.

It's really weird when people cling to these blatantly false narratives about the kid. Do try to keep up, it's 2019 he's been nothing short of a model citizen during his time with the Nets (minus that dumb airport incident last month).

Raptors are not winning that title without Gasol. He shut Embiid down who had a shoot around against the Nets in the playoffs. Randle is an upgrade over any powerforward we've had the past two or three years.

Levert plays great defense and would start.

Harris or more likely Prince would come off the bench.

Allen and Kurics are both balanced players who hustle on defense.
