They overpaid for a back up point. He's a great glue guy and terrific on the defensive end, but no way he should be making more than Lou Williams.

Lou Williams is underpaid but curious they have decided to overpay Pat already it is an over pay should be about the same as Lou.. is it down to Raptors and Lakers?

I'll bet when the dust clears, Bev's contract looks slightly more tolerable. Proly got a team option for year three with no guaranteed loot. 2 st 15 or so per is still lofty, but they liked what they saw... now if he could just get buckets

The Clippers played at their best when Beverly was on the floor. If Doc had benched Bradley earlier in the year Bev would have gotten more run much sooner. The Clippers don’t sniff the playoffs without Pat Bev last year.
But if they missed the playoffs, not only would they have kept their first round pick, this contract would have looked more like 3 / 30. You get people talking about you in the postseason, you get paid.

Kawhi wants second star on team. Clippers dont have one and no one left on market. Jimmy Buttler was the last one (ok deal isn't completely done, but i'm sure he's going to Heat).
So Lakers and Raptors are only options for Kawhi and 99% it's gonna be Lakers.
