Darren Erman will become head coach of the Maine Red Claws in the G League.


The Red Claws are operated by the Boston Celtics.


Erman was on the staff of the Celtics under Doc Rivers and joined the Golden State Warriors as an assistant coach in 2013. Erman is coming off four seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Thank you for reporting on this. I daresay, I got nary a wink of sleep all summer wondering who would coach this band of roustabouts in the nor’east. My heart, including all aortas and ventricles, is at ease.
At the end of the day, it's not about wins and losses. Teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship make champions of us all.

Go arbitrary assortment of athletes! Beat the other arbitrary assortment of athletes or my mood will suffer!
