Michael Beasley Turned Down Guaranteed $2.6 Million Contract In China For Pistons Deal

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun Aug 11, 2019 8:50 pm

Michael Beasley turned down a guaranteed contract in China worth $2.6 million to sign a one-year deal with the Detroit Pistons, league sources told James Edwards and Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Beasley's contract with the Pistons is non-guaranteed.

The Pistons currently have 16 players on their roster.

Lets face it, Beasley goes to China he's never getting back into the NBA. He's not that far away from being blackballed like Melo. If he makes the best of this situation with the Pistons maybe they offer him a contract or another team will offer him something. The opportunity to play in China will always be there.

Just so you know: Beasley’s already played in China on three different occasions. He’s been and come back to the NBA multiple times.
