Stephen A. Smith May Join NBA Studio Coverage For ESPN Next Season

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Aug 21, 2019 5:33 am

Stephen A. Smith will likely play a role in ESPN's studio coverage of the NBA next season, sources told The Big Lead.

Smith will likely be involved during Wednesday night doubleheaders.

The rumors come on the heels of news that Michelle Beadle will be replaced by Rachel Nichols and Maria Taylor as hosts of "NBA Countdown" next season.

Well, I refuse to watch Barley and Stephen A. is in the running with Charles for "most obnoxious", so here's one viewer that will not even bother to tune in ESPN Studio Coverage. Thankfully I use a DVR and can skip these two.

They should hire Chris Bosh that guy knows his **** because despite being a star in Toronto and later a key role player for the Heat he knows how to talk nba without the ego some of these talking heads especially former star players have like everything they say is right. Shane Battier would be another good choice.

I never watch an ESPN show or video with him in it. He is beyond obnoxious, knows little, and is just so damm annoying. If he works on the games, I will turn the sound off, or probably just not watch those games. He may be on ESPN, but I'm free not to watch him.

I'm not particularly found of anything he says. There is no great analysis or anything like that, but this guy is a freak. I'm not sure how he is doing it. I used to hate the guy, but I have gained a certain level of respect over the past year.

How the hell is this guy performing all day everyday. He does 1st take, takes a lunch break (I guess), then does the Stephen A Smith Radio show, then you catch him doing NBA stuff at night. He makes appearances on Get up sometimes, he does late night NBA sportscenter stuff. He always has his typical yellin at the mic energy as well.
