Hasheem Thabeet has been participating in "informal scrimmages" with members of the New York Knicks this week, confirmed Ian Begley of SNY.tv.
Begley adds that Thabeet will continue to workout with the team over the next couple days, although their level of interest in signing Thabeet is unknown.
The Knicks currently have 19 players under contract. They can carry 20 players for training camp.
