I hate the Celtics as much as you do for losing this championship on behalf of the United States. But sheesh, thats taking what the Celtics did to another level.

The current USA Basketball system was supposed to prevent this from happening again. It failed again in the same way as it did in the early 2000’s. The good players once again showed no commitment to the program. I hope that the stars that refused to play on this team are not allowed on the 2020 Olympic team.
As for the players on this team, they may not have won but at least they showed up.

Some basketball players from France score more points within an alloted time than basketball players from the U.S., and it's AOC's fault. Did she suit up?

FDR was a socialist, and after claiming in his first campaign that his predecessor interfered too much with the markets--essentially promising he would do the opposite of what the New Deal became--he then reneged on his campaign promises and implemented countless failed policies that further ruined the economy and turned what should have been a temporary downturn into the worst economic disaster in U.S. history. His infrastructure projects were very valuable though, and the U.S. has relied heavily on that infrastructure through most of the years since. The only policies of the New Deal that made any sense were those that emphasized infrastructure projects. Such projects should be emphasized during the good times though, not during the worst of times. Unfortunately, that's not how people get things done. They wait for disaster. Maybe AOC will be old enough to be elected president when the next disaster hits, and she will help it get worse, and eventually a generation raised on hardship will emerge and bring everything back out of the mire. And the spoiled brats that dominate our recent generations will be all but extinct.
