Hasheem Thabeet To Workout With Knicks This Week

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Sep 16, 2019 6:06 am

Hasheem Thabeet will continue to workout with the New York Knicks this week, his agent Jerry Dianis told Ian Begley of SNY.tv.

The 32-year-old Thabeet has been participating in informal 5 on 5 scrimmages with the team since last month.

The Knicks currently have 19 players under contract, with room to add one more player before the start of training camp.

We have an amazing young center, and let another perfectly good backup center in Kornet walk for nothing ... all ... to sign a lazy turd. Great work Pills. Now let's play where did Perry draft / sign this guy.

Just a workout. Doesn’t mean much at this point.
A new era or error?

Unfair comment. Hassan Whiteside got better after his first NBA stint.

Nope, pretty fair assessment. You could be right but HW was 25 not THIRTY TWO...

Still thought this dude was Nba Young.
wow 2009 seems like yesterday.

He couuld thrive in this type of Nba by just being a Help defender.

The original assessment of "you weren't good at 22 what will make you good at 32" is unfair altogether. I get it you probably mean in terms of his athleticism, he was known for his shot blocking. I could think of dozens of NBA players who were no good at 22, but great at 32. It's fairly common.

Who? Which player has been bad most of his career then suddenly a great player at 32?
