The Philadelphia 76ers claim they removed two fans from the stands for "their continuing disruption of the fan experience," but those fans insist they were kicked out for showing support for Hong Kong.
The 76ers and Wells Fargo Center released statements on Wednesday.
"At last evening's game, following multiple complaints from guests and verbal confrontations with others in attendance, two individuals were warned by Wells Fargo Center staff about their continuing disruption of the fan experience. Ultimately, the decision was made by Wells Fargo Center personnel to remove the guests from the premises, which was accomplished without incident," the 76ers said.
Tim Bontemps reports the 76ers were unaware of the incident until after the fans were ejected.

Sometimes "Showing Support" can still be "Continuously distruptive."

U saying that I can complain when there is a chant that goes defense, defense, defense and wells Fargo staff can throw them all out for disrupting my experience?. 76ers clearly want to get deep in the China market. They should sue 76ers

Unfortunately, without video evidence, this case is impossible to judge. I know enough about Chinese nationals to know many/most of them would eagerly complain/lie to get pro-democracy fans thrown out of a stadium, which is, obviously, despicable. It seems this is likely what happened. (It's happened too many times, and all parties involved seem to fit the profile for this kind of incident.) On the other hand, I don't know how these pro-HK fans were actually acting, so I can't really come to a firm conclusion on this. They very well may have deserved it, in spite of their noble support of Hong Kong.
PS If NBA teams are throwing people out merely on the basis of complaints, without actual evidence of wrongdoing, well then, they're playing right into the hands of all of the worst elements of society. Cases like this should be looked at closely to make sure that isn't happening.

No, that's not what they're saying.
