Get assets, picks and build up. I always think a team between the 6 - 12/13th place are just stuck. Not good enough to make a run, not bad enough to have a shot at the best players. Let Beal have opportunity at success and do it right the next time. Lesson learned, don’t offer your injury prone, athletically dependent, incapable of shooting point guard 30+ million....
Ye blow it up totally,
We almost made the ECFs a couple years back, who knows how Wall really comes back?
We are in a slightly worse position than Blazers (except we have probably more assets for the future)
Yeah don’t offer a guy who was one of the best PGs in the game a large extension, (it was pretty bad in hindsight, but he was almost worth it at the time)
OKC and GSW both gave their injury prone shooting point guards (Westy Reliant on athleticism) supermax same offseason.
And totally is GSW regretting it... (and yes in my opinion Wall, Westy, Curry were on the same level in 2016-17, with Curry a inch better)
After your first, you change, you mature, you dont just jump into things.
After getting dunked on for the first time, life becomes complex.
