John Wall Expected To Miss Entire 19-20 Season

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Oct 17, 2019 12:21 pm

John Wall is expected to miss the entire 19-20 season as he recovers from a ruptured Achilles.

Wall suffered the injury last January when falling at his home.

Scott Brooks previously said the Washington Wizards will not bring Wall back until he's 100 percent healthy.

Wall has four seasons and $171 million remaining on his contract with the Wizards.

Imagine getting paid that much to do anything or in Wall's case nothing at all. These dudes got it made.

So he will get paid despite the injury being his fault and not happening on the court? :o

As long as the injury is not due to neglect then yes, it is a stipulation of the contract that life activities and accidents are not terms for cancelation.

I see nothing wrong with it. The owners make plenty of money.

The only thing is that Wall was a great talent and it sucks to see him out with so many injuries. Hopefully he can make a full recovery.
