The Toronto Raptors have signed Alex McKechnie to a contract extension and a promotion to vice president of player health.
McKechnie was hired by the Raptors from the Los Angeles Lakers in 2013.
McKechnie was given credit for managing the workload of Kawhi Leonard during Toronto's championship 18-19 season.
