Raptors g-league team scared em go to get Melo! Blazers are a bunch of idiots, if they think that offense is their problem.

This’ll be it for Anthony if he can’t make it work in PDX.

He perpetually makes his teams worse but the way Portland is playing this year he probably holds us about par for the course this year and gets us a pick right before our bigs come back next season fully healthy

Dame's huge performances have clouded the fact that they are actually pretty bad on both ends. They are one-dimensional and easy to scheme against. (This has actually been true for years, but it is magnified right now.) CJ is shooting under 41% on the season and Lillard is shooting a combined 33% against TOR, LAC, OKC, SAS... the only teams they've played capable of putting a scheme together other than PHI. He actually had a great game against PHI but only got 16 shots up. Maybe that was their scheme?

Anyway, the Blazers need help on O from the forward spot. To your point, they also need help on D, but I'm not seeing anyone available that can help them on both ends.

Amazing that some people still think of Melo as an all-star. He's been a bum ever since he left the nuggets

Carmelo made 6 Allstar teams as a NYK. So you’re straight up wrong, he was clearly an multi-time Allstar after leaving the Nuggets. Obviously you’ve been going too hard on the Hater-aid.

I had doubts about Dwight as I do about Carmelo. Howard now has a positive redemption story, so maybe Anthony can have one as well. We'll see.

I think he's flat out bad these days, but they're so thin at PF it's worth a shot.

How can anyone hate this for the Blazers? They are paper-thin up front and actually depending on Hood and Tolliver to make real contributions... I know that Melo does sweet fukc all on the defensive side of the floor, but at least they won't capsize totally when Melo takes over ON THE SECOND TEAM. If Stotts doesn't bring him off the bench than this experiment is doomed from the very beginning.

So it wasn’t his terrible offensive play, his terrible defensive play or his overall selfish attitude at his last 2 stops, he was blackballed?

Melo fans Are still living in 2012 and have no sense of current reality. :-?

Except he played the best ball of his career his first 3-4 years in NY, improved his efficiency and even led the league in scoring one season. He didn’t start fading until injuries and age hit near the end of the Knicks career.

The problem is he’s been terrible for the last 2 years, not the last 9 years.
