Rockets Waive Ryan Anderson

TheHouston Rockets have waived Ryan Anderson.


Anderson appeared in two games for the Rockets this season. He also spent two seasons with Houston from 2016-17 through 2017-18. All totaled, Anderson has played in 140 games with 122 starts as a Rocket, averaging 11.4 points and 4.8 rebounds.

I don't remember seeing Anderson on the floor this season. I assume this move is due to the solid play of Hartenstein and/or, as always seems to be the case with Fertitta, money.

It made zero sense to sign Anderson.

The coach has made it very clear he would probably put his own left leg on the court before Anderson.

That is not to say I think Anderson can't play.

But the coach has made his personal feelings clear. Thus, why bother?
