Zion Williamson Yet To Start On-Court Activities, Pelicans Being Extra Cautious For Return

The New Orleans Pelicans are being "overly cautious" in dealing with the return of Zion Williamson, according to Andrew Lopez of ESPN.

Williamson, who had knee surgery 6 weeks ago, has yet to begin on-court activities.

Alvin Gentry added that Williamson was "itching" to return to the court.

No problem with them taking all the time he needs, but that RoY stuff with Simmons was a farce. I don't care if it's the last week of the season, if he's ready to play, he should come in and play. RoY is a meaningless award within the scope of a career. It just means you were the best player among a group of players who suck pretty much every season. Whoopty doo.
