Paul George was booed whenever he touched the ball in his third return trip to play the Indiana Pacers on Monday.

George scored 36 points and attempted 11 free throws.

George said he wasn't surprised by the reaction and said one day he will tell his side of the story leading to his trade request in 2017.

"You know, someday I'll do a tell-all and tell the leading events of how I left Indiana," George said. "And I promise you, I'm not the one to boo."

"... I'm not gonna share the teaser," George later added. "... I like being the villain. I'm here two nights out of the year. The people they should boo is here a lot longer than I am."

George refused to elaborate on whom he was talking about, but he did say he wouldn't speak negatively about Kevin Pritchard.

"You're getting close to trying to get this story out, aren't you?" George asked. "... I'm not going to bad-mouth KP. That's just Kevin's side of the story."

"I understand that how the trade went down left a bad taste in peoples mouth and I should've done things differently. They got every right to boo me but I had a great time here and allways love to play in front of these people."

He probably meant to say cat fished. He tried to make a joke, it would've been funny if he had used the right term.

i was at this game as a traveling Clipper fan. They booed him during intros but I'd say not even a quarter of the arena booed when he touched the ball. There were actually Pacer fans there cheering for him. I respect Pacer fans a lot and the couple I talked to last night said a lot of people are over it and are just very happy to have Oladipo.

Do you actually think I don't know what being catfished means? Or do you not know that Paul George was actually catfished? Or do you think he literally meant that Larry Bird sexually harassed Paul George and wasn't joking?

Uhm none of those? I think he made a joke about Bird sexually harassing him.
