Joel Embiid Questionable For Thursday Game After Dislocating Finger

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Jan 7, 2020 6:08 am

Joel Embiid is questionable for the Philadelphia 76ers' game against the Boston Celtics on Thursday due to a dislocated finger.

Embiid dislocated his left ring finger during the first quarter of the Sixers' 120-113 win over the Thunder.

"They were just talking about the ligament. They're still figuring out what's next," said Embiid after the game.

Embiid returned to the game with his middle and ring finger taped together, though he admitted that he was unable to secure a rebound with two hands.

Embiid finished the game with 18 points and 9 rebounds.

Soft big man. What I see on court is an out of shape embiid dragging his and being the last one at the other end. They should shut down embiid for 2 to 4 weeks and get him in conditioning and ready for playoffs because boy he looking slower and slower

Embiid gets out of shape the more time he has off. He’s best when he plays on 3 days rest. But he looks really out of shape when he’s out more than one week. It takes him 5 games to get back in game shape.

Soft? Did you see the video of his dislocated finger? You would call out of work.
