Stoudemire last played in the NBA during the 15-16 season with the Miami Heat.

Stoudemire was previously playing for Fujian in China. Stoudemire has prior experience playing in Israel for Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem.

Knicks are the wealthiest team in the game most probably, but they are not a winning team for decades.
Maccabi is constantly trying to win. And they have won big.
3rd in Euroleague titles. Knicks haven't won for half a century. Suns are not even close.

In euroleague ,where Larkin,Mirotic,M.James and Decolo are the superstars is easy to win.You just give a team a 30mil budget and automatically you are in the final 4.Big deal.Wealthy big countries of Europe just do not even care otherwise an Israel or a Greek or a Turkish or a Russian team would not be so succesful.
In the nba you have 29 teams to compete against who have similar payrolls way over 100mil.You are comparing apples to orranges.
