Nick Nurse will coach the Team Giannis All-Stars in the 2020 NBA All-Star Game as the Toronto Raptors have clinched the second best record in the Eastern Conference.

Nurse is in his second season as the Raptors’ head coach after spending five seasons as an assistant coach with Toronto.

Mike Budenholzer is ineligible because he served as a head coach in last year’s NBA All-Star Game.

When your team loses 2/5 of the NBA champion starting line up(Kawhi the MVP and Danny) the expectation is your team will crash into the lottery like Golden State....

Then add in 150+ man games to injury to your top remaining 8 players(highest in the NBA for teams not losing a player all season) including 3/4 of your games missing 2-3 of your top 7, and a 1/4 of your games missing 4 of your top 8. Note: you have only played 49 games....

The roster doesn't contain a regular contributing player that was drafted in the top 20. Stanley Johnson, a 1st rd 8th selection, formerly of the Pistons and NO isn't good enough to crack the regular rotation....

And you've played the toughest part of your schedule through the injury bug

You're supposed to be a in the running for a top 5 lottery selection NOT 3RD BEST TEAM IN THE NBA.

That is some fine coaching. Congrats Nick and the coaching staff.
