The Denver Nuggets have requested waivers on Gerald Green, whom they recently acquired as part of a 12-player, 4-team deal.

Green has sat out the entire season due to a foot injury.

The Nuggets will have one open roster spot after waiving Green.

I believe he has to wait one calendar year before coming back. People made a big stink when Big Z did it on the Cavs.
