Mike Miller has impressed several members of the New York Knicks front office during his time as interim head coach, league sources told Ian Begley of SNY.

Miller could remain with the Knicks organization regardless of what happens during this summer's coaching search.

The Knicks are 13-20 under Miller, who took over following David Fizdale's firing.

The topic of Miller's future with the Knicks was re-ignited on Tuesday due to Steve Stoute's comments implying that the team will look for a new coach this offseason.

I’m for keeping him. Who’s out there, JVG, Mark Jackson, thibs? I wouldn’t be rushing to get miller out to get one of these guys, there’s a reason they are not currently coaching.

This reeks of Malone getting canned by the Kings for no reason.

The Kings still haven't don't anything noteworthy. Meanwhile, Malone's new team, the Nuggets have positioned themselves as a team perennially in contention for the WCF.

If he can get 13-20 out of that roster he deserves a fair chance, and only part of one season isn't fair.
