G League Suspends 2019-20 Season

The G League suspended its 2019-20 season due to Coronavirus fears.

The decision comes on the heels of the NBA suspending its season after Rudy Gobert tested positive for coronavirus.

If there is any delay/cancellation of the WNBA season, I wouldn't be surprised to see the whole league fold. The NBA has been supplementing the WNBA since day one. Considering the amount that is being lost through the parent league, both from the Morey fallout with China and now the COVID-19 suspension, is there enough money to float both leagues? I have my doubts.

The NBA uses the WNBA as their tax deduction. It’s basically a charity for them and the biggest charity they support I may add.

NBA stands to lose more money in taxes than they would in profits from discontinuing the WNBA.
