Knicks Interested In Elton Brand

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Apr 2, 2020 1:18 am

The New York Knicks have interest in hiring Elton Brand as general manager.

Brand is currently under contract with the Philadelphia 76ers in the same position for the 20-21 season.

Brand replaced Bryan Colangelo in 2018.

Leon Rose wants to see if Brand could be fired by the 76ers after the playoffs. Rose has worked with Brand when he was agent for Joel Embiid.

the donald, always unpopular, did worse in EVERY state in 2020. and by a greater margin in red states! 50 independently-run elections, none of them rigged

the Knicks are waiting for a man with limited executive experience to get FIRED from his current team for under-performing so they can swoop in and sign him? LMAO

Not what Steve Stoute meant when he said the Knicks should look to re-brand their image

He re-signs Tobias Harris (PF) to an insanely huge contract. Also he loses Jimmy Butler and JJ Redick via FA and brings in Al Horford (PF). Simmons handles the ball but they need a PG that can guard PG's.

Why are they so obsessed with wanting what the other kid has? Develop your own execs, develop your own talent. Stop trying to poach from other teams. Dolan is so obsessed with being a bully and throwing the weight of the franchise around yet they never amount to anything. It's weird and pathetic.

He also tipped his cards about how much he loved Thybulle, and may have had to pay extra to get him.

I loved Brand as a player, but I’m not impressed with what he’s done as a GM from the Sixers great position 18 months ago.

the Knicks continueto make a mockery of themselves. Its an insult when articles like this come out. Elton who??? the player who played half of his career for a laughing stock team, at the time being the clippers??? This guy trades away 2nd round picks to get 2 players from the warriors who joined in to be 8-9 rotation guys??? not to mention how he overpaid for THarris and AL. The reason why the 76ers aren't a contender this year is because of the moves he's made. If anything the Knicks need to hire Jerry Colangelo Or Chauncy Billups

Silver really needs to step in here.
