LaMelo Ball is currently the top-rated point guard on the New York Knicks' draft board, sources told Marc Berman of the New York Post.

Knicks executives believe that Ball has one of the higher-upsides in the draft.

Leon Rose briefly worked with the Ball's older brothers when they were signed to Creative Artists Agency.

Elfrid Payton has better court vision than LaMelo. But IMO, Ntilikina has the more rounded package.

it's bad enough the reason he's so highly rated is because the draft is an all time sucky one, but there is no reason to put any faith in anything the nyk org does or thinks. rather,,,it is simply a sound idea to bet against them and therefore against lamelo

Uh... they said top rated POINT GUARD. Not first overall. What they didn’t say was that they have 27 power forwards rated before him.

What makes you think LaMelo can get more dishes in 25 minutes in the L than what he did in 31 minutes in the Australian NBL?

And if there is one thing LaMelo has proven in the NBL, it's that he cannot shoot.
