Jacque Vaughn Has 'Legitimate Opportunity' To Become Permanent Nets Coach

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Jun 10, 2020 5:01 am

Jacque Vaugh has a "legitimate opportunity" to be named the permanent head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

I really do think that the Nets will give Jacque Vaughn a legitimate opportunity to win the job. This is a guy that comes from the Spurs background, has the same pedigree as [Nets general manager] Sean Marks. As far as I know, he does a good job at working with players, building that relationship," said Charania on the Load Management podcast.

The 45-year-old Vaughn is currently the interim coach of the Nets.

Vaughn is 2-0 since taking over from Kenny Atkinson.

That's a strange way to spell Tyronn Lue.
