Ben Simmons has fully recovered from his back injury suffered on Feb. 22nd.

"He's good to go. He's put in a tremendous amount of work for me to be able to confidently say that," Brett Brown said on a conference call with reporters Wednesday afternoon.

"As you search for silver linings with this pandemic and the way things have shaped up, it would be hard-pressed for me to find something more obvious than this: It's enabled Ben to reclaim his health. He's good to go, and we look forward to watching him with what I'm told is effectively 100 percent health."

It was unclear when Simmons would have been cleared to return had the season not been suspended.

I certainly hope he's 100%, its been 4.5 months since he last played. I know everyone wants to avoid surgery especially back surgery. But if he was entertaining back surgery, he would have done it by now. Lets just hope his back holds up. He's got guaranteed 5 year/170 million dollar signed contract starting next season. So it's not like he's in other's situation like Jaylen Brown or even Donovan Mitchell who do not have guaranteed long term contracts.
