NBA games over the first weekend of its restart were in line or below the pre-suspension norm.

On ABC Sunday, Bucks-Rockets averaged a 1.5 rating and 2.44 million viewers and Blazers-Celtics a 1.1 and 1.66 million, which were both below the network's pre-suspension average of 3.20. The Bucks-Rockets' game ranks as the eighth-most watched of ABC’s 16 windows this season, and Blazers-Celtics third-to-last.

Bucks-Rockets still delivered the largest NBA audience of the season excluding games on Christmas and featuring the Lakers.

The level of households using televisions is seven percent lower in July than in March and April.

Well, the ratings are headed the right way, Down. Bow to China and disrespect the USA and you lose a lot of your audience. Once ratings tank (and they were tanking even before the BLM Marxist crap) the Networks will give them a smaller contract and the salary cap will shrink and the salaries will follow. Serves em right.

Virtually nothing in this article suggests they are in any trouble. But please continue to make a fake narrative that suits your delusions.

It’s probably the same as with network shows; people watch less TV during summer. I still find it surprising given the infection rate, but in the midwest at least it was a particularly nice weekend weather-wise.

Can you bow to China for financial reasons and be a Marxist at the same time?

Summer has smaller ratings than fall or spring, which is why most television networks don't release any of their big shows during this season. Also, the NBA, MLB and NHL returned to action simultaneously with the NHL already starting with the playoffs. So unless you're a huge NBA fan like myself, the casual viewer probably won't tune in as the playoffs get underway and the games are meaningful again.
